JUNIOR COUNTRY WEEK RECAP

JUNIOR COUNTRY WEEK RECAP |
Our junior representative campaigns for the season finished yesterday with our under 13s narrowly falling short of reaching the semi-final against Warrnambool Blue.
The boys put together 9/72 batting first and almost pulled off a thrilling win, with Warrnambool passing the target with just one wicket in hand and three overs to spare.
Top performers included Sonny Podger who took 3/6 to finish the carnival as the leading wicket-taker and Paddy Hassett 11 runs, while several others chipped in with wickets and runs.
Congratulations to all the players who represented the association over the carnivals, we are extremely proud of your efforts, while special thanks goes to our managers and helpers for assisting with the running of these carnivals, your help ensures the kids get the opportunity to play in these events.
